Now, Robert Kirkman and Skybound/Image Comics are giving you the chance to put those strategies to the test with The Walking Dead Escape, a multi-day event that coincides with San Diego Comic-Con, held July 12-15. Taking place inside San Diego's Petco Park, Escape will put its participants into a zombie-themed obstacle course in which they can act as a Survivor who races through the infected zone, a Walker that embraces their destiny as the undead, or simply a Spectator that observes the madness.

The official release says, "Survivors will climb, crawl and slide in an effort to avoid confrontation by hordes of Walkers, while achieving the ultimate adventure on The Walking Dead-themed obstacle course. The Walking Dead Escape is not a race, and Survivors are not timed, but the end is near, and they must move swiftly. If they’re lucky, Survivors will reach the decontamination zone at the end where it will be determined if they have been infected."

"Our fans have been reading about it, watching it and now they get to live it with The Walking Dead Escape," said Kirkman. "We are literally transforming Petco Park into the early days of society’s collapse and San Diego is just the first city to fall."

The Walking Dead Escape promises to have many references throughout for die-hard fans of the comic book, which also hits its landmark 100th issue in July.

One issue will show an epic cosmic battle, the next will be a morning after tale of out of control partying, and still another will explore the deeply intimate love between fathers & sons & best friends.

Jonathan Hickman is Marvel's answer to DC's Grant Morrison. I can't wait to see what his next project will turn out to be (please, please, please let it be the Avengers!!!). Said it before and I'll say it again: this is the best Fantastic Four run I have ever read.

Starting to see the benefit of setting this current story in London, removed from all the NuEarth reboot clutter. Thanks to the previous Straczynski story arc/debacle which upset everything that was previously established, I'm free to read Azzarello's run as a stand alone Elseworlds saga and enjoy it on it's own merits. I fully expect some future creative team down the line will come in and wipe everything Azzarello did away as well. It's rather freeing.

I'm eager to see how the finished issue looks. I'm a little worried as the art on the book is easily the best part so if it faulters...it may hurt.

We shall see though.
