it's been a very long time since i have posted anything. i am still in a state of limbo. still need to find a cheap apt that accepts pets. i have my two cats with me now. i don't have cable of internet access at present home.
i am in the middle of moving. i don't know when i will be back. i hope it's soon.
i am appalled about the show person of interest . the idea that someone is constantly monitoring all emails, cell phone calls, and phone calls to "prevent " crimes. excuse me , but we stilll have freedoms in america . maybe some people are willing to let go of all personal rights and privacy, but i am not. by using this, he is the bad guy. sorry, don't pull that but he does it in the best interest of society crap. what kind of society would tolerate no privacy ? are we going to have camera's follow us into bathroom and our beds ? should we leave the doors opens so police can randomly search homes? my god, we are becoming a society of cows. where is the outrage ? big brother is us.
i have written before about september 11.i am writting again with the tenth year anniversary. i grewup in an age of war. we had daily reports of how many soldiers died in vietnam. we saw protests and riots over drafts.
a week ago i found a $2,500 winning lottery ticket on the floor. i immediately ran up to the front desk to turn it in .not worth losing your job when cameras are all over the store. last monday i was rinignig up a customer.
tough choice. let me explain. after last weeks drunk driving death by ryan dunn, i have a feeling that some might take offense. no, i am not posting about his death. wmmr's preston and steve show has an annual drunk day show. this show humoursly shows how drinking impares you.they don't force it down your throat with the death statistics and such. no, they get two or three people really drunk. the drinkers then have to perform a series of tasks. these show how much we think we are doing fine while drunk while in actuallity we aren't . so, if you want to, you can listen in. the show starts this friday morning at 6 a.m. .
i had a really bad saturday. same thing happened two weeks ago. only this weekend it was worse. someone is wearing too much perfume. i get into my till and i had a hard time breathing. i was chocking on it.
it's amazing how someone will claim to know when the world will end from the bible. people have been predicting the end for thousands of years. once again another person guarantees it. well, i hope he has the sense to apologise when nothing happens on sunday.
so, we celebrated when it was annouced that bin laden was dead. we intsantly get a bunch of fools saying we shouldn't celebrate. did they tell the arabs who danced when the twin towers fell to not do it ? did they tell the people of the world who burned our flag to stop ?
i sit here thinking about a man who represented phillies baseball to me. harry kalas died two years ago getting ready for a game against the washington nationals. i was taking a shower when i heard the sad news.
got some bad news from a friend today. her cousin , who was in a hospital in icu, isn't going to make. his body is giving out on him. he isn't expected to last the week. he is a really nice guy. just a darn shame.
i finally ate at the new gino's on 202. i don't know where my friend got directions, but they were overly complicated. i could have just driven straight up 202 and been there. anyhow, it was like i was back in the 1970's.
is it illegal, immoral, or improper for people dring suv's in snow to let people pass them ? once again, i was passing a slow moving moron in the left hand lane . the a-hole decided to pull into my lane to keep me from passing.
i meant to post this earlier this week. i saw a newcast after sunday's eagles game. some jerks damages at least two vehicles, rendering one inoperable. boy, i bet you guys think you are so brave. yes, attacking that defenseless vehicle.
once again, my plans for new years eve are cancelled. so, i am stuck at home alone. it sucks. i am getting tired of this.i need to hit the lottery.
